I'd like to see more coverage. the strip of cloth in the center is kind of vulgar. But the rest is amazing. The boots, the shoulder guards. Very pretty and creative. What's more, the sleeves, shoulder accoutrements, and the enhanced vambraces are something I think she'd actually wear. Great work!
...Hey, thanks for the comments. I don't agree with the strip of cloth being vulgar though, it covers more than a bikini would... and I think vulgar is kind of harsh... stay tuned though, coz I might just cover her up a bit more... just for you...
well, perhaps vulgar is not the right exact word I was going for. And I didn't mean it in the prudish way, either. Gotta love them string bikinis.
I guess it's the lines of the "bathing suit" part that didn't sit well with me. The rest of the lines on her arms and legs are so graceful and natural almost like petals of flowers made of gold, and to have a rectangle of red plunked down in the center is a bit jarring. Design-wise. So, "vulgar" in the sense of composition and taste, though that's subjective. Even SO, I concede that the word is harsh, and not what I was going for. I did not mean to make you feel bad, because when all is said and done, it's a marvelous drawing, (and way more original than a lot of "redesigns" for Wonder Woman, which frankly already exist, whether the artists know it or not- poor things. She's had so many outfits over the years that its hard to be original with her design, which is something you've managed to do.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to any tweaks you have in store for this!
